The spookiest time of the year is fast approaching, and the Mohawk College Students’ Association (MSA) has just the thing for students looking to participate in thrilling activities.
From Oct. 11 to Nov. 2, students can purchase tickets for the annual Halloween Haunt event at Canada’s Wonderland for $50 per person.
Halloween Haunt runs after the amusement park’s regular hours, transforming it into a spine-tingling attraction to be explored and scared by. There are four mazes for guests to explore—Cornstalkers, Spirit Manor, The Crypt and The Ruins. Several outdoor mazes are also available to be bravely ventured into. The description of the Crypt on Wonderlands website reads in part, “The dead are rising and The Crypt welcomes no one.”
But, if getting lost in an enclosed space filled with people whose job is to scare the daylights out of them isn’t to an attendee’s taste, there’s always the food. Haunt offers an extensive menu with theme-appropriate items such as the Witches Poutine, the Graveyard Parfait and Zombie Apple Fritters.
